What is Planned Maintenance?

The regular process of lubricating equipment to keep wear to a minimum, making adjustments for proper operation, and inspecting for irregularities.
Cal-Lift, Inc. will tailor a Planned Maintenance(pdf) program to fit your schedule and application. We offer three types of service intervals.
Cal-Care Planned Maintenance.
  • This service is performed every 30, 60 or 90 days depending on hour usage and application. Cal-Care PM includes the checking of all safety items, and adjustments as listed the checklist.
1000 Hour Service Planned Maintenance (Semi Annual)
  • This service includes all Cal-Care PM service items plus drain, flush, and change coolant, change fuel filter, major tune-up, check engine compression and advise. On a yardspotter we also service the transmission, flush the cooling system, replace thermostat, repack front wheel bearings, check brakes, change hydraulic differential and power steering fluids and filter.
2000 Hour Service Planned Maintenance (Annual)
  • This service includes all 1000 Hour PM service items plus changing all fluids, filters, and oils, major tune-up, check and advise engine compression, clean and pack all wheel bearings, check and advise brake system, and perform condition report.
